Teach April Photo Jan 2016.jpg
April is a traditionalist in that she believes a yoga practice is something that goes well beyond contortion of the physical body. While she enjoys an effortful physical practice, she insists that the asana (seat or physical posture) is simply a means of refining our connection to the Earth and all beings. April’s creative sequencing is accompanied by sweet tunes, hands-on-assists, pranayama, philosophy, meditation and chanting.
She strongly believes that the yoga practice has enormous potential to create a more harmonious and compassionate global community because in order to change the outer world, we must must first change our inner world.
April is currently a 300hr Jivamukti Teacher and will being her 800hr certification in 2016 with Sandy King from Jivamukti Sydney.
